Dust off your Handbook for the Recently Deceased, because Beetlejuice is almost back, back, back on Broadway. Giving new (after)life to the production are national tour cast leads Justin Collette as Beetlejuice and Isabella Esler as Lydia.
Do you hear that sound? Broadway audiences are about the get the fright of their lives this fall when Beetlejuice returns for its third run, this time at the iconic Palace Theatre. Isabella Esler is a part of that company and will now make her Broadway debut as 'Lydia'- a charcter she has grown to love since the national tour launcehd in 2022.
Beetlejuice, the musical based on Tim Burton’s 1988 poltergeist comedy, has completed casting for its run at the Palace Theatre. The first national tour of the musical will return to New York for a 13-week "resurrection engagement" with performances beginning on October 8. Justin Collette and Isabella Esler, who played the titular demon and Lydia on the national tour, reprise their roles on Broadway.
Kenneth Ferrone is directing the musical penned by Chilina Kennedy, Daniel Edmonds, and Eric Holmes.
